Often I'm thinking,
How sweet childhood's embrace,
Joy and carefree days,
Love's warm, gentle grace.
But as we grow older,
More sorrow we may face,
So now I make a wish,
To turn time's fleeting pace.
Oh, I long to rewind,
To the days so divine,
When life was a rhyme,
In my youth, so sublime.
Alas, it won't come true,
But I'll clear my mind,
And find happiness anew,
Believe in wonders I'll find.
Now everything's a celebration,
For I'm a child once more,
Innocent and elation,
Happier than ever before.
To make it all complete
I'll go visit my mother's door,
Embrace her so sweet,
A child, forevermore.
Oh, I long to rewind,
To the days so divine,
When life was a rhyme,
In my youth, so sublime.
Alas, it won't come true,
But I'll clear my mind,
And find happiness anew,
Believe in wonders I'll find.
Yes, I'm a child at heart,
With no worries or strife,
In this joyous restart,
I'll live a charmed life.
